Valentine's Gifts For Your Camping Guy

It’s that time of year again: Valentine’s Day! If you are looking for a unique gift for your outdoorsy guy, here are some great gifts that I enjoy and I'm sure he will dig. 1. GoPro Hero 5 Black, $394
This awesome camera can be used to capture all kinds of moments, from a first ascent of a mountain peak to underwater scuba. Any guy who is into the outdoors needs this in his tool kit! Especially since there are a few upgrade features: waterproof without the bulky extra case, a built-in screen on the backside and it's voice controlled, so he can tell when it starts recording.

2. Roof Top Tent, $925
If your man is a weekend warrior and loves to go get his camping on, how about a cool tent with a view? The Ayer tent from Tepui will sleep two people and mounts to the roof racks of most cars and SUVs. A padded mattress inside will make you feel like you’re at home in bed, and the extra tall ladder makes it easy to get in and out. Sleep in style and comfort, and then fold it up and go the next morning!

3. Leatherman Multitool, $169.85
I use my Leatherman multitool for EVERYTHING! Probably too much. But it does everything so well and it is so many different tools in one, it’s so often simpler to grab it than to dig out all the regular tools I would need to do a job. If your guy doesn’t have one, get him one. He will love it.

4. Solar Charging Backpack, $64.49
We all have a million gadgets, and just because we are enjoying the wilderness doesn’t mean we don’t want them with us. From phones to digital cameras to GPS devices, they all suck power. How about feeding this need with some eco-friendly electricity? Have you ever been hiking and thought “I’d like to sit and enjoy this viewpoint for a while, but there’s nowhere comfortable to sit.” Well, problem solved. The Lamzac by Fatboy USA inflates quickly and easily, and when not inflated only weighs 2.6 lbs! It’s plenty big enough for you and your guy to lounge and enjoy the view.

8. Nixon Mission Smartwatch, $399.97
Every guy needs a good watch, especially out in the wilderness. Being that this is the 21st century, it’s time to help your guy step up his game. The Nixon Mission smartwatch looks great, has fitness monitoring built in, is built tough, and has built in apps that bring in surf and snow updates automatically. Add that it will connect to your iPhone or Android phone, and your guy will be seriously connected.

9. Rechargeable Latern, $51.49
I bought this lantern 6 months ago, and I love it. It’s really bright, especially when cooking on a grill at night, and super durable. Instead of going through bottles of propane or batteries, you just use the light and then plug it in when you get home to charge it up. Less waste and lots of light, it’s a win-win.

10. Ten Tree Clothing, $51.49
This brand is awesome - They are eco-conscious and for every item you buy, they plant 10 trees on your behalf! The clothing is cool and soft to wear. It's one of my favorites!
